Reversible terminators:   Oxime blocked, untagged
Reversible terminators are also available with the 3'-ONH2 protected as theacetoxime, which are more suitable for long term storage than our ready to usereversible terminators. SAMRS™ Self Avoiding Molecular Recognition System

Nucleic acidamplification reactions suffer from the formation of off target amplificationproducts. This problem increases with the number of primers in the reaction. Itmainly occurs because of primer primer interactions. BiversalTM nucleotides

The divergencepresent in pathogen genomes makes it difficult or impossible to design a singleprobe or primer that is the exact complement of all possible target sequences.In practice this is handled using degenerate or “universal bases” (e.g.inosine).

Firebirdscientists have created two “ biversals TM . Each exists in two tautomericforms that provide alternate hydrogen bonding patterns. This allows thepyrimidine biversal to pair with either guanine or adenine and the purinebiversal to pair with either thymine or cytosine. These bases provide a newalternative to the

existing methodsof handling divergent sequences for both PCR amplification and SNP detection(Yang et al., 2018).
